Feel empowered. Show your courage, be fearless. Boudoir photography is about being comfortable with yourself, loving yourself even when you might not feel it. Life happens. Our bodies change. But true beauty comes from inside and you should never let “Life” define your beauty.

Why do a boudoir (or as we call it a courage) photoshoot?

  1. Boosting Confidence: Many people find that a boudoir session helps them feel empowered, beautiful, and confident in their own skin—often seeing themselves in a new light.

  2. Celebrating a Milestone: It’s common to do a boudoir shoot to commemorate major life events like birthdays, anniversaries, weight loss journeys, or even recovery from illness or hardship.

  3. Gifting a Partner: Boudoir photos are often given as intimate, personal gifts—commonly for weddings, anniversaries, or Valentine’s Day.

  4. Self-Love and Empowerment: It can be an act of self-care—reclaiming your body, embracing your sexuality, and expressing yourself artistically.

  5. Trying Something New: For some, it’s simply a fun and exciting way to step out of their comfort zone and try something creative.

  6. Professional Keepsake: A boudoir session, when done with a skilled photographer, can result in beautiful, tasteful images that are cherished for a lifetime.

What you wear for a boudoir shoot depends on your comfort level, personal style, and the tone you want to set—whether it's romantic, edgy, playful, or elegant. Here are some popular and flattering wardrobe options:

 Classic Lingerie

  • Lace bras & panties: Always a timeless choice.

  • Matching sets: Look polished and put-together.

  • Bodysuits: Hug your curves and offer some coverage while still being sexy.

 Edgy & Bold

  • Leather or strappy lingerie: Adds drama and attitude.

  • Corsets or bustiers: Accentuate the waist and enhance curves.

Romantic & Soft

  • Sheer robes or kimonos: Great for layering and teasing without revealing everything.

  • Silk or satin slips: Elegant and flattering for all body types.

  • Oversized sweater or button-down shirt: Casual, cozy, and subtly sexy.

 Personal & Unique Touches

  • Heels: Elongate the legs and add polish.

  • Jewelry: Delicate necklaces, earrings, or body chains can elevate the look.

  • Sentimental pieces: A partner’s shirt, a wedding veil, or a special accessory can personalize the shoot.

 Tips

  • Bring multiple outfits to change up the vibe.

  • Stick to colors that complement your skin tone.

  • Choose styles you feel great in—confidence is the sexiest outfit.

What is the difference between Courage and Bold photoshoots?

Courage photoshoots are classic boudoir style photoshoots. Mostly captured in an upscale hotel or Airbnb. Courage photoshoots are in a classy private environment where you can feel comfortable and relaxed.

Our Bold photoshoots are a more casual form of our courage shoots. The environment is more public, usually outdoors at a beach or another unique area. Outfits are more tame but still sexy and are tailored to you. For example, love sunsets, let’s go to the beach. Own a cool vehicle or a motorcycle, let’s use it.

Defiant photoshoots are a more risqué version of our courage shoots. The location can be indoors or outdoors. These photos are more in the style of traditional figure study type of photography.
